# Scope amendment — explicit owner authorization

Owner answer in chat: «Разрешаю увеличить seed до 32 байт».
|
|
Scope: generateCryptoSecureSeed uses 32 random bytes (64 hex characters), preserving deterministic proof format, snapshot hash and HMAC_SHA256_FY_V1 algorithms. No existing tests may be changed.
|
|
Reason: existing PostgreSQL integration seed contract expects 64 hex characters, actual generator used 16 bytes (32 hex).
|
|
Required verification: existing unit/integration suites, tsc/lint/build, independent review.
|
|
|
|
Second explicit owner answer: «Разрешаю обновить assertions seed на 64 hex».
|
|
Narrow exception to the no-existing-test-edits rule: update seed-length assertions only in tests/randomizer.test.ts and tests/seed-precommit-gate.test.ts (four assertions across the two files; the clarification's count of three omitted the additional precommit assertion). No weakening or unrelated test changes.
